Soma Naturopathy Limited
By booking or attending a consultation with Soma Naturopathy Limited, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
1. Scope of Practice
Soma Naturopathy provides naturopathic and herbal medicine services that are complementary in nature. These services are intended to support overall health and wellbeing and are not a substitute for medical diagnosis, treatment, or emergency care.
Clients are encouraged to maintain a relationship with their primary healthcare provider and to seek medical advice where appropriate.
2. Appointments & Bookings
Appointments can be made online or directly with Soma Naturopathy. By booking an appointment, you are reserving dedicated time for your consultation.
Please ensure you arrive on time. Late arrivals may result in a shortened consultation time.
3. Cancellation & No-Show Policy
We kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for any cancellations or rescheduling.
Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a fee.
Failure to attend an appointment (no-show) will incur a 50% charge of the scheduled appointment fee.
This policy allows us to respect both practitioner time and other clients waiting for appointments.
4. Payments
Payment is required on the day of your appointment.
Herbs and supplements will not be dispensed until payment has been received.
Payment options include:
Paywave (available during in-person appointments)
Online invoice (card payment available)
Bank transfer
Payment plans via Karma (where applicable)
Any outstanding balances must be settled promptly.
5. Remedies & Products
All herbal medicines, supplements, and recommendations provided are prescribed based on individual client presentations.
Clients are responsible for:
Taking remedies as directed
Informing Soma Naturopathy of any changes to medications or health status
Communicating any adverse reactions
Products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease.
6. Client Responsibility
Your health outcomes are influenced by many factors, including lifestyle, compliance with recommendations, and individual physiology.
While guidance and support are provided, results cannot be guaranteed. Clients are responsible for their own health decisions and actions.
7. Confidentiality & Privacy
All personal and health information is treated with strict confidentiality and managed in accordance with New Zealand privacy laws.
Information will only be shared:
With your consent
Where required by law
Where there is a risk of harm to yourself or others
8. Limitation of Liability
Soma Naturopathy Limited is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from the use or misuse of advice, products, or services provided, except where required by New Zealand law.
9. Changes to Terms
Soma Naturopathy Limited reserves the right to update these terms and conditions at any time. The most current version will always be available on the website.
Soma Naturopathy Limited operates in accordance with New Zealand consumer law and professional naturopathic standards.
